Police: 2-Year-Old Found In Pool Dies
SINCLAIRVILLE — The New York State Police confirmed Monday evening that a 2-year-old child found in a pool has died.
Sinclairville volunteer firefighters, along with Chautauqua County EMS and Emergency Services, were alerted to a report of a child found in a pool around 4:45 p.m. CPR was performed prior to first responders arriving.
A county coroner was later requested to the scene.
Capt. Eric Balon of the New York State Police confirmed that the child had died. However, he said no further information would be released at this time.
