NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ KENNEDY — Joshua Ross, 31, of Kennedy was charged with third-degree criminal trespass. Troopers responded Monday to a residence in Kennedy for a reported trespassing incident. Ross was located in an abandoned house owned by the complainant. Ross was processed and issued tickets to appear in Poland Town Court later.

¯ KIANTONE — James Trotter, 28, of Frewsburg was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Sunday to Riverside Road in the town of Kiantone for a reported rollover crash. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Trotter reportedly failed several field sobriety tests and later provided a breath sample of 0.14%. He is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Town Court later.

¯ RANDOLPH — Nathan Culver, 20, of Randolph was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Troopers responded Saturday to a residence in Randolph for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that during an argument, Culver took a woman’s phone and stepped on it, causing damage. Culver is scheduled to appear in Randolph Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ FORESTVILLE — Cory J. Near, 31, of Forestville was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded Tuesday at 7 p.m. to a Forestville residence for a reported domestic incident. Near was taken into custody following an investigation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
