CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ VILLENOVA — Eugene Kornacki, 32, of Depew was charged with speed not reasonable or prudent. Deputies responded Saturday at 2:18 p.m. to a crash on Mile Strip Road in the town of Villenova. An investigation found that Kornacki was traveling at an unsafe speed, which caused him to lose control and strike an oncoming vehicle. As a result of the crash, one person was transported to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville with minor injuries. Kornacki is scheduled to appear in Villenova Town Court later.

¯ ELLERY — Andrew J. Stover, 63, of University Heights, Ohio, was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and parked/standing on pavement. Deputies on Sunday at 1:03 a.m. contacted a vehicle parked on the road on Broadway Street in the town of Ellery. An investigation found that Stover was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition and that his driving privileges to operate in New York were revoked due to previous chemical breath test refusal in 2018. He is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

¯ KIANTONE — Jeremy M. Smith, 36, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Deputies on Friday received a larceny complaint that occurred at a residence in the town of Kiantone. An investigation found that Smith allegedly portrayed himself as an employee of a previous employer in order to gain access to the residence. It was found that once inside, Smith then removed property from the residence that belonged to the owner. He is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Town Court later.

¯ FRENCH CREEK — Joseph R. Lindberg, 22, of Busti was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a BAC of 0.18% or greater and inadequate stop lamps. Deputies observed a vehicle Saturday at 2:38 a.m. traveling on Mina French Creek Road with only one functioning brake light. Lindberg was later found to be intoxicated following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in French Creek Town Court later.

¯ DUNKIRK — Nathasha M. Feliciano, 26, of Dunkirk was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. For the past several months members of the Dunkirk Police Department and Members of The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force have been conducting an investigation into the sale and distribution of Narcotics in the city of Dunkirk. Feliciano was taken into custody Friday after grand jury indictment warrants were issued. She was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jordan Adams, 33, and Bernard Philbrick Jr., 55, both of Jamestown, were each charged with second-degree burglary and petit larceny. Officers were dispatched Saturday at 7:35 a.m. to a burglary on Newland Avenue. Officers learned that Adams and Philbrick were allegedly in a residence without permission and had taken property. The pair was found with the stolen property on Kidder Street. Both were taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Carlos M. Pagan, 53, of Lakewood was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, DWI with a BAC of 0.18% or higher, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, open container in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operator, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and driving outside interlock restrictions. Officers responded Sunday at 3:30 a.m. to a crash on Big Tree Road in the town of Busti. An investigation found that Pagan, who reportedly drove into a ditch, striking a telephone pole, was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
