JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Kaylee A. Hicks, 21, of Olean was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and endangering the welfare of a child at 8:52 p.m. Sunday after an incident on Prospect Street. Police responded to a report of an unwanted person in a home and discovered Hicks allegedly entered a person’s home, remained there without permission and allegedly kicked a person in the face in front of a child. Hicks was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until she can be arraigned.

¯ Alberto Santiago, 46, of Jamestown was charged with driving on a sidewalk, driving while intoxicated and unnecessary noise at 2:04 a.m. Monday after allegedly riding his lawnmower on the sidewalk along Prendergast Avenue and Strong Street. Santiago allegedly was driving the mower on the sidewalk and across city streets while intoxicated. He was taken to the Jamestown City jail, where police report Santiago refused to submit to a chemical test to determine his blood-alcohol content. Santiago will be in Jamestown City Court later.

¯ Ryan D. Baker, 26, and Alyssa A. Sheldon, 24, both of Jamestown, were charged with third-degree assault at 2:35 p.m. Sunday after a domestic violence incident on Fairview Avenue. According to a police report, officers determined that a mutual assault occurred and that both Baker and Sheldon were injured in the incident. They were both taken to the Jamestown City Jail until they could be arraigned.

¯ James T. Swain, 48, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, insufficient signal less than 100 feet, failure to comply, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. At 1:48 a.m. on Sunday, officers stopped a vehicle near the area of East Fourth Street and Prendergast Avenue, where Swain was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail where, after a drug test, he was reportedly nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08%. He was being held for arraignment.

¯ Melinda M Rivera, 26, of Jamestown was charged with theft of services. Officers responded at 3 a.m. on Sunday to a report on McKinley Avenue and Norwood Avenue that a female allegedly refused to pay her cab fair. A description of the house that the female reportedly ran into was given, and Rivera was reportedly identified as the person involved. She was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯ John H. Eaton, 48, of Erie, Pa., was taken into custody on an outstanding bench warrant and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony fugitive from justice. On Friday at 1:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a fight at a Terrace Plaza address. While speaking with one of the subjects, Eaton was allegedly discovered to have a valid bench warrant out of the city of Jamestown. A search also reportedly found a quantity of crystal methamphetamine in his pocket. Eaton was also reportedly wanted on a probation violation. He was later remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ Michael A. Weathers, 51, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. At 3:34 p.m. on Sunday, officers observed Weathers in the area of Harrison Street and Foote Avenue reportedly walking with a female that had an order of protection against him. Weathers was taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident and was held pending arraignment.

¯ DaJon M. Wilcher of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and two counts of disorderly conduct. Officers responded at 5 p.m. on Monday for a disorderly person in front of a Sturges Street address. When officers arrived, Wilcher was found yelling and threatening people in the area. Wilcher reportedly became combative while being taken into custody. He was being held for arraignment.
