City Police Probe Overnight Shooting
No one was injured when shots were fired in the area of Cherry and West Eighth streets in Jamestown late Monday.
Capt. Robert Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department confirmed the incident occurred shortly before midnight. Investigators were still looking into the shooting Tuesday, Samuelson said.
No further information was immediately available.
The area was also the site of a shooting Nov. 16, 2018. According to police, an altercation broke out on West Eighth at Cherry streets when two people pulled out guns.
One of the suspects reportedly fired shots toward a nearby home. No one was struck in the incident.
