Police Seek Information After Shooting
Jamestown police are looking for information after a 22-year-old man was shot early Saturday in a targeted attack.
Officers responded around 3:35 a.m. to the area of Charles Street and Newland Avenue for a report of multiple shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found that the man had been shot “multiple times in the leg.”
The 22-year-old was transported to UPMC Chautauqua and later to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
The victim suffered at least two separate wounds; the injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, Jamestown police told The Post-Journal.
Jamestown police said the victim was not cooperating with investigators.
