CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HARMONY — Freeman D. Yoder, 21, of Busti was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and moving from lane unsafely at 1:06 a.m. Saturday on Niobe Road, Harmony. According to a police report, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Niobe Road. Freeman was found to be the operator. He will be in Harmony Town Court later.

¯ KIANTONE — Keith E. Anthony, 44, of Frewsburg was charged with driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely and failure to notify DMV of an address change after he was pulled over on Route 60 in Kiantone at 1:01 a.m. Sunday. Deputies report pulling Anthony’s vehicle over for an alleged lane violation. Anthony refused a breath test and, after processing, was taken to the Chautauqua County jail pending arraignment. He will be in Kiantone Town Court later.

¯ MAYVILLE — Michael J. Pollaro, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 3:15 p.m. May 16 at the Chautauqua County Jail. According to a police report, Pollaro was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance while in the jail. He will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ CLYMER — Kathryn M. Burnett, 34, of Clymer was charged with second-degree criminal sale of marijuana, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child. Around 6:50 p.m. on May 10, deputies were called to assist in a narcotics investigation. During the investigation, deputies learned that Burnett allegedly provided marijuana to a juvenile. Burnett turned herself into police on a warrant from the Sheriff’s Office. After being placed into custody, Burnett was taken to the county jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ IRVING — Elijah K. Bowmanleroy, 24, of Irving was charged with DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, refusal to take a breath test and speed in zone. Around 6:35 p.m. on Sunday, deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 5 and 20 after observing it commit a traffic violation. An investigation determined that the driver of the vehicle was Bowmanleroy. Deputies also learned that Bowmanleroy was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated and had a suspended New York State driver’s license. After being taken into custody, Bowmanleroy was transported to the county jail for centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Christopher R. Saldarriaga, 22, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, driving while ability-impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:12 p.m. on Friday, officers stopped a vehicle on Victoria Avenue after witnessing a vehicle fail to keep right on Prather near Foote avenues. Officers identified the driver as Saldarriaga. An investigation determined that Saldarriaga was also allegedly in possession of a quantity of marijuana. After conducting field sobriety tests, which Saldarriaga failed, officers took him into custody. Saldarriaga was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where officers determined he was impaired by drugs.

¯ Kelvin O. Thomas, 36, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. At 8:59 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to a Windsor Street residence for a report of an order-of-protection violation. An investigation determined that Thomas was required to stay away from the residence. After being taken into custody, Thomas was transported to the city jail where he was held pending arraignment.
