Sheriff’s Office Probing Death Of Jail Inmate
MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 28-year-old inmate at the county jail.
There is no suspicion of foul play, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
“The New York State Commission of Corrections has been notified and the investigation is continuing,” the Sheriff’s Office said. “Next of kin have been notified.”
