CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Randall K. Mesler Jr., 19, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Deputies were called Tuesday to Mayville for a report of a person with an illegal weapon. An investigation found that Mesler was in possession of an electric stun gun. He was held for arraignment.

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Brandi M. Howard, 39, of Sinclairville was charged with resisting arrest and criminal possession a hypodermic instrument. Deputies were conducting a warrant check March 22 in Sinclairville on Howard, who had a bench warrant out of Gerry. While serving the warrant, Howard reportedly jumped from a window and ran from deputies. She was taken into custody and allegedly found to be in possession of hypodermic needles. She was held in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

¯ GERRY — Deputies responded Thursday at 6:34 a.m. to Route 60 in the town of Gerry for a motor vehicle crash. An investigation found that a 26-year-old driver struck a deer that entered the road. The driver was taken by Sinclairville firefighters to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jacqueline M. Delo, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fugitive from justice and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Officers on Monday at 2:44 a.m. observed a vehicle make traffic violations in the area of Cherry Street and West Fourth streets. The female driver, later identified as Delo, reportedly gave officers a false name. She was also found in possession of heroin and fentanyl, and was also driving on a suspended driver’s permit and was wanted in Erie, Pa., on a warrant. Delo was taken into custody and transported to jail where she was held for arraignment.
