¯ MAYVILLE — Scott J. Davis, 55, of Jamestown was charged with theft of services. Deputies were called Saturday to a restaurant on Water Street in Mayville for a larceny complaint. An investigation found that Davis purposely left without paying his bill. He is scheduled to answer the charge in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ ELLICOTTVILLE — A 13-year-old student was charged with making a terroristic threat after troopers reponded to Ellicottville Central School on Friday for a possible threat of violence. Further investigation revealed that a threatening note was located within the school. The school went into lockdown, and state police arrived to evaluate the alleged threat. The 13-year-old was referred to Cattaraugus County Family Court.
