Pair Jailed After Lakewood Burglary
LAKEWOOD — A Jamestown pair was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on burglary charges early Tuesday.
Officers with the Lakewood-Busti Police Department responded to Ohio Avenue in the village around 12:45 a.m. for a reported burglary in progress. Upon arrival, police allegedly located 23-year-old Adriana E. Machado and 20-year-old Rebecca S. Machado, both of Price Street.
Police said the pair allegedly broke a window and entered a home at 29 Ohio Ave.
Both were taken into custody. Adriana Machado was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Rebecca Machado was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
The pair was arraigned in Busti Town Court and taken to the county jail.
