CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ POMFRET — Victor H. Zarate, 24, of Kenmore was charged with speed in zone, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies stopped a vehicle Sunday at 2:13 a.m. in Pomfret for a traffic violation. Zarate was allegedly found to be driving while intoxicated. He is scheduled to answer the charges in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

¯ MINA — Jeffrey J. Granger, 27, of North East, Pa., was charged with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, DWI and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped a vehicle Sunday at 3:30 a.m. on West Mina Road for a traffic violation. Granger was identified as the driver and later found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Mina Town Court later.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Brian P. Grant, 21, of Buffalo was charged with DWI, DWI per se and unregistered motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle Saturday at 2:44 a.m. for a traffic violation on Route 394 in the town of Chautauqua. Following an investigation, Grant was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ CHARLOTTE — Devon Taylor, 38, of Buffalo was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies stopped Taylor Saturday at 11:37 p.m. for not having any tail lights. His license was found to be suspended and revoked 17 times. He was also found to have an active warrant out of Erie County. Taylor was arraigned in Charlotte Town Court and held at Chautauqua County Jail.
