CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Travis J Eaton, 35, of Silver Creek was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 12:56 p.m. on Saturday to a location on Jaekle Avenue in Silver Creek for a reported criminal mischief. It was later found that Eaton entered a residence without permission and damaged property while inside. He was arraigned in Silver Creek Village Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ CHARLOTTE — Shawn A. Cavender, 49, of Cassadaga was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies responded to an address at 9:13 p.m. on Sunday for a reported disorderly person. It was later found that Cavender had struck another person without reason. An arrest warrant was issued and he was taken into custody without incident. Cavender was arraigned and remanded to jail in lieu of bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Robert Mosley III, 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and visibility distorted. Police stopped a vehicle at 2:39 p.m. Friday West Fourth and Washington streets. The driver told officers his name was Brandon Mosley but was later identified as Robert Mosley III. He was found to have a suspended license and outstanding warrants in Jamestown. He was taken into custody on several charges.

¯ Justin M. Meacham, 36, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 1:10 a.m. Monday after a vehicle he was riding in was pulled over on West Sixth and Monroe streets. Police discovered Meacham had an outstanding warrant from the New York State Parole division and that he allegedly possessed crystal methamphetamine. Meacham was taken to the Jamestown City Jail without incident until he could be arraigned.

¯ Shared D. Corley, 20, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 12:56 a.m. Saturday after a vehicle Corley was riding in was pulled over on West Fifth and Lafayette streets. Corley allegedly was in possession of crack cocaine. Corley was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

¯ James A. Scotchmer, 33, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree grand larceny at 8:11 a.m. Monday. Officers were called to a past-tense criminal mischief incident at 9 N. Main St., Jamestown, when they discovered a key to a vehicle was missing. A person who identified himself as Sotchmer was at the job site and found to be in possession of the stolen key to the construction vehicle. Scotchmer was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

¯ A Pennsylvania resident reported his dog missing or stolen July 26 at 11 a.m. His grayish-white toy poodle weighing approximately 5 pounds went missing from its 71 Valley Circle Drive address. The canine was wearing a camouflage collar with a red leash tied to a yellow rope. The dog responds to “Tank.” An investigation is pending. Anyone with information regarding the location of the dog should contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Warren at 814-728-3600 or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
