CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — David D. Hannold, 49, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies on patrol around 5 a.m. Thursday observed Hannold, who was known to be wanted on multiple misdemeanor charges. While being taken into custody he was allegedly found with suboxone, hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia. Hannold was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Rick L. Dye, 28, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 12:56 a.m. Thursday to a domestic incident at West Ninth Street. An investigation determined Dye allegedly took a woman’s phone, held her down and punched her in the face. The incident took place in front of a 4-year-old child. Dye was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was held pending arraignment.
