JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Darren K. Mushat, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing. Officers responded at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday to a domestic dispute at a residence on Elam Avenue. After an investigation, police determined Mushat allegedly waved a large kitchen knife at a woman in the residence. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was being held pending arraignment.

¯ Heather M. Brown, 28, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Police located Brown Wednesday at 4:18 p.m. at 71 River St. and was determined to have active warrants out of Jamestown City Court. An investigation determined Brown allegedly was in possession of a quantity of heroin and hypodermic syringes. Brown was taken into custody on the charges and bench warrants and transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

¯ Joy S. Ryen, 47, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and felony aggravated family offense. Police responded at 8:47 p.m. on Wednesday for a domestic incident on Anderson Street. Police reportedly observed Ryen enter a residence that she had a order of protection to stay away from. Police located Ryen inside the residence and took her into custody. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Brook A. Patterson, 32, of Lakewood was charged with disorderly conduct. Police received a report of an intoxicated person at 48 Chautauqua Ave. in the village at 6:20 a.m. on Thursday. When officers arrived, Patterson was allegedly hostile and disorderly in his apartment. He was taken into a common hallway where he continued to be hostile. Police said Patterson reportedly yelled obscenities that could be heard throughout the building. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and directed to return to Busti Town Court at a later date.
