Jamestown Police were called to the scene of a reported domestic dispute just before 2 a.m. Tuesday which resulted in the apprehension of two city men.

Following an investigation it was revealed that James Grant, 54, had allgedely slapped a Bowen Street resident multiple times while an order of protection as in effect. It was further discovered Grant, along with Warren Dinkins, 54, entered the victim’s home without permission and stole a television.

Both men were located and taken into custody without incident.

James was charged with second-degree burglary, petit larceny, aggravated family offense and first-degree criminal contempt. Warren was charged with second-degree burglary and petit larceny. Both suspects are awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.
