Trio Charged After Drugs Found In Silver Creek

SILVER CREEK — Three people were charged after crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered at a Silver Creek home Wednesday.

Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded around 2:45 p.m. to 8 Henry St. for a report of possible drug activity. An investigation found 21-year-old Jorge L. Ortiz-Reyes of Dunkirk, 27-year-old Dominique P. Estarfaa of Silver Creek and 24-year-old Mariarsenia Vega of Dunkirk were allegedly in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana, as well as scales and drug paraphernalia, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Ortiz-Reyes was charged with third-, fourth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned in Hanover Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Estarfaa and Vega were each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. The pair was released with appearance tickets to be in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.
