NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯SHERMAN – Dustin Raynor, 30, of Ashville was charged Thursday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Kevin Lamar, 45, of Jamestown was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers pulled over Raynor at Kipp and Main Streets in Sherman for a traffic violation. After smelling marijuana, the troopers warned the occupants the vehicle would be searched. Raynor tried to lock the doors to prevent the search and was taken into custody as a result. Raynor possessed several units of concentrated THC oil, a bottle of marijuana and a pipe with marijuana residue. Lamar possessed a bag of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana residue. Lamar was issued an appearance ticket and was released at the scene. Raynor was processed at SP Jamestown, issued appearance tickets and released. Raynor and Lamar are both scheduled to appear in the town of Sherman court next month to answer the charges.

¯GERRY – Katie Cromartie, 21, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with aggravated driving while intoxicated. She was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for traffic violations and after failing several field sobriety tests, Cromartie was taken into custody. She was transported to police barracks in Jamestown where she provided a breath sample of .20. Cromartie was processed, issued tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry court later in the month.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Emma M. Anthony, 23, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failure to keep right, unregistered MV, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI and DWI per se. At approximately 4:10 a.m., officers of the third platoon observed a vehicle traveling east on Steele Street in the westbound lane, failing to keep right. The vehicle was stopped on Harrison Street near Institute Street. Officers determined that the operator of the vehicle, Anthony, was driving in an intoxicated condition and failing field sobriety tests. Emma’s NYS driving privileges were suspended, and her vehicle was not registered. She was transported to the City Jail where she was charged.

¯Amman S. Lindsay, 47, of Jamestown was charged Friday with failure to keep right, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI and aggravated DWI per se. At approximately 11 p.m., officers of the third platoon observed a vehicle making a wide right turn and failing to keep right, onto Woodworth Avenue from Hallock Street. Officers stopped the vehicle on McDaniel Avenue. During the traffic stop, the operator of the vehicle, Lindsay, was determined to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Lindsay failed several field sobriety tests and was then taken into custody and taken to JPD. He was charged and released on cash bail to appear in court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯FREDONIA – Tracy J. Tarbell, 48, of Fredonia was charged Friday with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, aggravated DWI – blood alcohol .18 percent BAC or higher, violation of interlock device restriction and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 5 p.m., the sheriff’s office responded to East Main Road in the town of Pomfret for the report of a disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and located Tarbell; they discovered that he had been operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Tarbell has a previous conviction for DWI within the last 10 years, making this arrest a felony. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he was committed on pre-arraignment bail.
