CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT.

¯ MAYVILLE — Sydney Johnson, 24, of Buffalo was cited for speed in zone and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 8 p.m. July 8. According to a police report, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies saw a vehicle speeding on East Chautauqua Street in Mayville and pulled the vehicle over. Johnson allegedly had a suspended driver’s license. He will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.

¯ RIPLEY — Mark A. Ruch, 48, of Bradenton, Fla., was charged with failure to keep right, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and failure to take a breath test after he was pulled over at 1:46 a.m. Monday on Route 5 in Ripley. Deputies report seeing Ruch’s vehicle commit a traffic infraction before pulling the vehicle over. Ruch was arraigned in the Ripley Town Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. Ruch will be in the Ripley Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Joshua Malinowski, 22, of Williamsville was charged with DWI and DWI per se after deputies responded to a vehicle complaint on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover at 8:15 p.m. July 4. Deputies found the vehicle at the Burger King Restaurant and identified the operator to be Malinowski. Following an investigation, deputies charged Malinowski with DWI and DWI per se. Malinowski will be in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Kayla E. Kendziora, 22, of West Seneca was charged with DWI, DWI per se and failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:08 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies saw a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign in Hanover and pulled the vehicle over. Following an investigation, deputies charged Kendziora. She will be in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ HARMONY — James P. Leroy, 30, of North East, Pa., was charged with DWI, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely at 2:49 a.m. Saturday after deputies reported seeing a vehicle commit lane violations on Interstate 86 in North Harmony. Deputies pulled the vehicle over and identified Leroy as the operator. Leroy will be in North Harmony Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Shelly R. Spoon, 45, of Versailles was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se and cited for speed in zone at 3:30 p.m. Sunday after deputies pulled over a motorcycle for speeding on Hanover Road in Hanover. Shelly R. Spoon was operating the motorcycle. Upon further investigation it was found that Spoon was operating the motorcycle while intoxicated. Spoon was issued tickets and will be in Hanover Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

¯ Jolene R. Zielinski, 23, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment at 12:08 a.m. Monday at 401 Lincoln St. Jamestown police responded to a harassment complaint. A person told police Zielinski had called the person and threatened bodily harm. During the investigation, officers learned the person had a valid order of protection against Zielinski. She was found at her East Second Street residence and charged. She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until she could be arraigned.

¯ Joshua T. Dorsey, 31, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana and five outstanding bench warrants from Jamestown City Court at 2:44 a.m. Monday on Linden and Forest avenues. According to a police report, officers responded to a report of a suspicious man checking houses. Officers were able to find the man and take him into custody after a short foot chase. Dorsey was confirmed to have five outstanding warrants from Jamestown City Court and officers report Dorsey also had methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana. He was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

¯ LAKEWOOD — Patrick R. Neidig, 28, of Lakewood was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated per se, driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, crossing hazard markings and failure to signal a turn at 2:06 a.m. Saturday on East Fairmount Avenue. Lakewood-Busti police report seeing a driver fail to signal a turn onto East Fairmount Ave and cross the center and white hazard markings on the road. The vehicle was then pulled over and Neidig was charged. He will be in Busti Town Court later.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Christopher L. Decker, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment after reportedly leaving a voice mail threatening harm to a Celoron man. Decker was charged and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
