The Post-Journal Will Open Its Doors Starting On Tuesday

Beginning Tuesday, June 1 The Post-Journal’s front doors will be open to customers for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.

The doors were closed to the public last year due to safety concerns for employees and customers. Customers were able to schedule to meet with P-J employees via appointment and drop off any messages through an external drop box during the pandemic.

“We are very happy and comfortable to be able to open our doors again to our customers,” Publisher Mike Bird said. “In accordance with CDC guidelines customers that are fully vaccinated will not need to wear a mask when entering the building and non-vaccinated people should continue to wear a mask while in the building. With vaccination rates continuing to increase and positive cases dropping consistently, we are comfortable in opening our doors, we look forward to seeing and communicating with our customers/readers in person again.”

Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Customers can also drop any messages, news releases or payments in the external drop box near the front doors of the newspaper offices.
