Jamestown Police Department investigators are investigating a violent home invasion robbery that reportedly occurred at 2:20 a.m. Sunday at a home on Chautauqua Avenue, Jamestown.

A video released by the Jamestown Police Department shows two unknown white men kicking in the door and then assaulting a person at the front door before forcing their way into the home.

One of the two men is seen showing a pistol during the attack.

Police report the men took several items from the home and then ran away down Chautauqua Avenue toward Baker Street.

The men are seen wearing hooded sweatshirts with their faces partially concealed.

Police said their investigation has shown the attack is not a random act of violence and that the location was targeted.

The motive is believed to be drug related, according to a news release from the Jamestown Police Department.
