Hundreds of children took part in the 71st annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Allen Park ice rink in Jamestown on Saturday. More than 3,000 plastic eggs were filled with candy to be found inside the rink. The Child Advocacy Program donated three stuffed animals as prizes for the Saturday event. This year’s sponsors included Sertoma Club of Jamestown, Mark Hess’ family, Allen Park Women’s Club, Kendall Club, Jamestown Bowling Company, McDonald’s, Media One Group and Esquire Cleaners. Girl Scout Troop 20029 helped fill the plastic eggs with candy. Pictured is the Easter Bunny greeting children prior to one of the hunts Saturday. See Page B1 for more photos.
