Jamestown Man Charged After Stealing Credit Cards

A Jamestown man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly stealing and using numerous credit cards from the area.

On Tuesday at 12:55 p.m. Jamestown police pulled over 33-year-old Jacob R. Keys as he was pulling out of a city business.

Keys had already been linked to a number of unauthorized credit card purchases throughout the Jamestown, Lakewood and Ellicott areas.

Inside his vehicle, police reportedly found several credit cards belonging to victims. Police said the cards were reportedly stolen from the vehicles of the victims.

Keys was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and charged with seven counts of felony second-degree forgery and seven counts of felony fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Police said Keys has charges pending for other purchases made in Ellicott and Lakewood.

Keys was also on parole and a violation of parole warrant was issued in addition to the above charges.
