Kristy L. (Schultz) Martinez, 45, of Falconer passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (April 4, 2017) in her home.

She was born April 14, 1971, in Jamestown the daughter of Richard and Donna Matthews Schultz.

Kristy attended Frewsburg High School and was an avid animal lover. She was a wonderful mother and loved children, especially her little boy, Nicolas. Kristy’s passion was really to help people, she really wanted to help homeless people to have a better life.

She is survived her husband, Sigfredo Martinez of Celoron, N.Y.; her son, Nicolas Sigfredo Martinez of Falconer, N.Y.; her mother, Donna Matthews of Falconer; a brother, Richard (Robby) Schults of Pittsburg, Pa.; two sisters: Melissa (Mark) Crump of Pittsburg, Pa., Joy Fancher of Celoron, N.Y..; most precious nieces and nephews, Justin Fancher of Celoron, N.Y., Kayla Lemanski of New Castle, Pa., Bryannah Acosta of Falconer, N.Y., Olivia Crump of Pittsburg, Pa.

Kristy is preceded in death by her father, Richard Schultz and her nephew, AndrewMendrick.

The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Cara Seekings will officiate the service. Private interment will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
