CHAUTAUQUA – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies revived an apparent overdose victim with Narcan early Thursday morning.

At approximately 12:20, deputies responded to a residence in the town of Chautauqua for a reported overdose. At this time the Chautauqua Fire Department Ambulance and the Mayville Fire Department Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival deputies found an unconscious unresponsive subject who appeared to be overdosed on controlled substances. Deputies administered Narcan to the subject. The subject subsequently regained consciousness.

The subject was subsequently transported to an area hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
