Westfield Man Has Triple The Trouble In Separate Incidents

WESTFIELD — A village resident hit the trifecta with the Westfield Police Department over a four-day span. Beginning Feb. 24 through Saturday, Torry Kenny, 28, was picked up by police after three separate incidents.

According to the village department, the first took place in the area of 34 Jefferson St. after a report of two subjects fighting with a report of a possible knife involved around 8:45 a.m. Feb. 24. Upon arrival, officers questioned Kenny who appeared to have cuts and an abrasion on him. After further investigation, Kenny was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. He was transported to the Police Department and issued an appearance ticket on Feb. 24.

One day later, on Thursday, police responded to 39 Jefferson St. for a reported burglary around 10:30 p.m.. After an investigation, officers were unable to locate the suspect who left prior to their arrival.

On Saturday, when the department was responding to an additional call, it was determined Kenny had knowingly and unlawfully entered the home to take property.

Earlier that same day — around 2:40 a.m. — officers responded to an alleged larceny at 49 Washington St. After an investigation, Kenny charged with taking property unlawfully from the residence.

In all, Kenny was charged with petit larceny, second-degree burglary and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
