A Jamestown woman has pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug-involved premises, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

Loegan Morrison-Samples, 24, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

On April 27, 2019, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Morrison-Samples’ Partridge Street residence in Jamestown. Investigators recovered methamphetamine and other narcotics, including small amounts of cocaine and marijuana. In addition, a 12 gauge shotgun, a pink stun gun, and other drug paraphernalia were also recovered.

During the search, Morrison-Samples and co-defendant Jacob Komenda were present.

On Sept. 5, 2019, investigators executed another search warrant at the new residence Morrison-Samples reportedly shared with Komenda in Jamestown. About $3,000 in United States currency, methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia was recovered from the residence.

Komenda was previously convicted of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing, five grams or more of methamphetamine, and is awaiting sentencing.

The charge against Morrison-Samples carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and a $500,000 fine.
