Body Found Related To Search At Reservoir

The Warren County Coroner’s office has confirmed that the subject of a search in the Allegheny Reservoir has been found dead.
“The person that we were looking for was found,” Coroner Melissa Zydonik said. “A positive identification has been made. Next of kin has been notified.”
Neither the coroner’s office nor the U.S. Forest Service — the lead agency in the investigation — released additional details, including the name of the deceased and where the body was found, as of Wednesday afternoon — citing an active investigation.
Allegheny National Forest Public Information Office Christopher Warner said a full release would be issued Thursday.
The search started with a 911 call late Monday night in which it was reported that a vehicle was in the water at the Webb’s Ferry boat launch in northeastern Warren County.
Responders began searching late Monday and early Tuesday and resumed Tuesday morning.
Federal, state, county, and local agencies participated in the search.
