Dunkirk city police and fire department officials were at Main and Newton streets near the Fieldbrook Foods facility in Dunkirk on Wednesday afternoon after a rollover accident involving a tanker truck. Witnesses say the tanker portion of the truck was not full when it came loose from the cab. It blocked the intersection around 12:30 p.m. Crews remained on the scene and traffic was detoured while the incident was being investigated. A crane came in around 1:30 p.m. to move the tanker from the scene.
