8 Charged In Sale And Distribution Of Drugs

Eight residents are being charged in the sale and distribution of narcotics in Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties.

For the past several months, members of local Law enforcement have been conducting an investigation into the sales and distribution of Narcotics between Chautauqua County and Cattaraugus County. The investigation lead to two search warrants being issued for locations in Chautauqua County, one at a residence on Route 62 in Conewango Valley and one at 2595 Third Ave. in the town of Ellicott.

At about 11 p.m. Tuesday, SWAT team members from the Cattaraugus and Chautauqua county sheriff’s offices executed both search warrants.

Members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug task forces, Jamestown Police Metro Drug Task Force and Ellicott Police Department conducted a search of the residences. The investigation lead to the discovery of a large amount of illegal narcotics.

Officers located about 5.5 ounces of methamphetamine, 6.3 ounces of hallucinogenic psilocybin mushrooms, a quantity of fentanyl, MDMA, ecstasy and various drug paraphernalia.

Eight area residents were all charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and were committed to county jail pending arraignment.

William C. Sission was located in the Third Avenue residence and charged with second-degree criminal nuisance.

Others charged include: Cory Carlson, 28, of Gerry; Michael L. Cent, 30, Stephane R Agrifolio, 34, Robert G Clark, 33, Charlotte A Schuver, 31, Holly R Berenguer, 37, Elizabeth Singer, 30, Taylor Hernandez, 25, all of Falconer.
