CHERRY CREEK — Sharon Howe, librarian of the Cherry Creek Free Library, has announced the acquisition of three books written by local authors.

“Prey,” a novel written by former Pine Valley educator, Tim Majka, is a suspense-filled tale perfect for summer reading.

Shirley Wooten Rose has written a tale of emotional abuse she endured during a past marriage entitled, “Get Out Of My Bed.”

Ryan Young has penned an autobiographical story entitled “Thankful, Blessed Individual.” His story is one of overcoming the challenges that accompany disabilities.

The books are available to readers now at the Cherry Creek Free Library, which is open on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. The library is located on Main Street in the hamlet of Cherry Creek.
