Winning $4.5M Match 6 Ticket Sold In Warren

WARREN — If you played the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Match 6 game on Friday night and you bought your ticket at Sheetz in Warren, you better check — and double check — those numbers.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced on Monday that a $4.5 million ticket for the Match 6 game was sold from the Friday, April 6, drawing.

“The jackpot had rolled for two months to become the game’s sixth-largest on record, as well as the largest prize awarded since Match 6 moved to nightly drawings last August,” according to a statement from the Pennsylvania Lottery. “The ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers, 17-27-33-37-45-46, to win the jackpot prize, less applicable withholding. Sheetz, located at 2425 Market St., Warren, earns a $10,000 selling bonus.”

Lottery officials indicate that the prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified and said that winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize from that game.

“Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Match 6 ticket should sign the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office,” the statement said.

More than 90,100 other Match 6 tickets also won some prize in this drawing.

The lottery indicates that players in Warren County won more than $10.1 million last fiscal year and programs that benefit older residents received more than $4.4 million in Lottery funds.
