Warren County Man Jailed In PA Homicide Case
WARREN, Pa. — The Warren County man charged in the June 21 death of his wife is in jail.
Matthew B. White, 34, of Chandlers Valley, faces a charge of criminal homicide.
White’s wife, Jessica White, was killed last Wednesday evening, taking “numerous gunshot wounds to her torso,” according to the affidavit of probable cause.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop E Crime Section Commander Lt. Wayne Kline, White was released from UPMC Hamot Tuesday night.
He had been receiving treatment for what was reported to be a gunshot wound to the torso, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
White was taken to Warren County Jail. He is not eligible for bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12.
Police have conducted ballistics testing and have been executing search warrants, including a toxicology screen, Kline said. Results have not come back yet.
No attorney representing White is named on court documents.
