Felon Seen With Shotgun Charged In Silver Creek
SILVER CREEK — Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies charged a village resident late Wednesday after he was seen walking on Porter Street with a shotgun.
At about 11:30 p.m., deputies located the suspect on Monroe Street who was identified as 49-year-old Francis, W Kiley III. Further investigation found that Kiley was a convicted felon.
Deputies then determined the Kiley had possession of a shotgun prior to their arrival. Kiley was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and placed into custody.
He was transported to the Hanover Substation and released with an appearance ticket for Hanover Town Court later.
