SUGAR GROVE, Pa. — A Sugar Grove, Pa., man is behind bars after he fought naked with police during a domestic incident on Wednesday night.

Travis L. Williams, 42, 101 Race St., faces charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest filed by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police.

Two troopers were dispatched to Williams’ residence for a report of an “active domestic violence incident” shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, according to the affidavit of probable cause. Troopers reported that when they arrived Williams “exited his residence with no clothes on and his genitals exposed.”

Troopers told Williams to move and calm down and report that “Williams was extremely intoxicated and irate. He began shoving, striking and grabbed” a trooper ” in the heck, head and chest area in a violent struggle.”

Police had to ultimately deploy a TASER to place Williams in custody.
