New COVID Cases Continue To Decline In County

Virus cases continue to show a decline in Western New York.

On Wednesday, 24 new COVID-19 cases — with 10 in Jamestown — were reported by the Chautauqua County Health Department.

In all, there have been 7,335 total cases with 7,019 recoveries. Thirteen are hospitalized and 135 cases are active with 608 in quarantine. The positivity rate over seven days is at 2%.

Other new cases were reported in Bemus Point, six; Dunkirk, three; Fredonia, two; Forestville, Brocton and Lakewood, one.
