Lackawanna Man Charged In Road Rage On I-86

A Lackawanna man is facing charges after an alleged road rage incident on Wednesday on Interstate 86.

State Police in Jamestown charged Ahmed Alqadhi, 41, with fourth-degree criminal mischief after responding to the alleged incident. An investigation revealed that the driver of the suspect vehicle, later identified as Alqadhi, threw a water bottle at the complainant’s vehicle as he was passing, causing damage and fled the scene.

The Troopers located the suspect vehicle soon after the complainant reported the incident to 911 and Alqadhi was placed under arrest.

Alqadhi was transported to the Jamestown barracks where he was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.

He is to be in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.
