9 New Cases Of COVID Reported, 609 In Quarantine/Isolation
Nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday, bringing the total in Chautauqua County to 188.
The new cases, according to the county Health Department, involve two people under the age of 18, two men and a woman in their 20s, a man in his 30s, a woman in her 40s, a woman in her 50s and a man in his 60s.
As of Tuesday, 81 of the total cases have been reported in the south county (38 active cases), 64 in the north county (no active cases), 14 in the eastern part of the county (two active cases), and 29 in the western part of the county (three active cases).
There remains 43 active cases of county residents who continue to recover under orders from local health officials. In addition, there are 609 county residents under quarantine/isolation, 138 recoveries, seven deaths and 18,373 negative test results.
