Peek’n Peak Resort has reopened its facilities following a brief closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a news release, Scott Enterprises Inc. said its Peak Mountain Adventures opened June 19. The upper golf course at Peek’n Peak is also accepting tee-time reservations for golfers practicing social distancing, as well as the pro shop and driving range.

On Friday, Scott Enterprises will reopen Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park Resort in Erie, Pa.

“We are eager to welcome guests from near and far to Peek’n Peak and Splash Lagoon, two of the tri-state area’s most exciting resorts,” said Nick Scott Sr., president of Scott Enterprises. “Our team members have spent weeks preparing both resorts to reopen safely, with a number of precautions and new protocols in place. We are excited to be welcoming guests back to Peek’n Peak for summertime adventures now and cannot wait to open Splash Lagoon on Friday, June 26, to all the regional families that have been looking for a break from the pandemic.”

Moving forward, Scott Enterprises said its resorts will staff “sanitation specialists” at its facilities to focus on cleaning and sanitizing surfaces that come in contact with guests.

“As more businesses are permitted to operate, Scott Enterprises has continued to recall laid-off employees, with nearly 750 active employees as-of June 18,” the company said. “That number is expect to rise significantly over the next few weeks, as operations increase at numerous businesses operated by Scott Enterprises.”
