Jamestown Board of Public Utilities water crews will replace two water valves on Wednesday in Lakewood along Fairmount Avenue across from Cinema 8 Theaters.

Motorists will see slowed traffic due to the work.

Beginning at 5 a.m. Wednesday, water will be off for about two hours at Fairmount and Lowe avenues all the way to Sunset Cove in North Harmony; and on Summit and Lowe avenues to Fairmount Avenue and Big Tree Road.

Once work is completed, widespread discolored water will be seen in Lakewood, Cottage Park, Ashville and North Harmony.

Residents should not do laundry until water clears which can take 12-24 hours.
