7 Charged After Search Turns Up Drugs, Cash
Seven area residents are facing charges after fentanyl, methamphetamine and cash were discovered during the search of a city residence late Thursday.
Police, citing the “ongoing investigation into the trafficking and sales of illegal narcotics,” executed a search warrant at 10:15 p.m. at 225 Tower St. Officers were assisted by members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Jamestown SWAT Team.
Inside, police reported finding a loaded pistol later found to have been stolen in a 2018 burglary. Also located was 5.5 ounces of fentanyl, 17 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a quantity of Suboxone strips and $1,700 in cash.
Taken into custody were 22-year-old Wade J. Paulisck, 22-year-old Janie L. Blakey, 24-year-old Jonathan D. Wright, 36-year-old Stephen P. Glover, 25-year-old Robert Mosley, 22-year-old Jordan J. Thayer and 22-year-old Tyler T. Manelick.
All seven were charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property and criminally using drug paraphernalia. They were held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
