(1:55 PM) Montel Williams Discusses Makeover Show For Ashville Family
Montel Williams of the TV show “Military Makeover With Montel” visited the Heritage Ministries Homestead Horse Stables where filming for the program took place.
Cody Willett, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was selected as the winner of “Military Makeover With Montel,” a home improvement show on Lifetime that features Williams.
Williams served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy. Heritage Ministries works with veterans suffering form post-traumatic stress disorder.
Willett suffers from PTSD stemming from his deployments to Afghanistan.
The Willett family, who were relocated for the duration of the project, will see the improvements made to the Ashville home for the first time Thursday around 2 p.m. Initial work began on April 30.
Willett is currently a member of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office where he works as a computer specialist.
The renovation project is in collaboration with the Chautauqua County Veterans Service Agency PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Program that helps veterans return to civilian life.
