(6:55 PM) Tornado Watch In Effect Through Early Monday
A tornado watch has been issued from now to 3 a.m. Monday, the National Weather Service in Buffalo said.
The watch includes Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Wyoming and Livingston counties.
The tornado watch also includes Warren County, the National Weather Service said.
A “line of strong thunderstorms” was expected to enter Western New York around 7:30 p.m. The line was supposed to move across Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties around that time.
“This line is capable of producing damaging winds, large hail and possibly an isolated tornado,” the weather service said.
