(12:10 PM) Police Seek Info After Girls Receive Lewd Photos
WARREN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Police said it is investigating after several girls reported receiving lewd photographs through a messaging cellphone app.
Authorities were made aware of the incident around Jan. 20 when a 14-year-old Sugar Grove, Pa., girl came forward. The girl told police she had received the messages from another student at her school.
An investigation determined “several other girls” also received similar messages and pictured through Snapchat from the same individual, the Pennsylvania State Police said in a press release Thursday.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call state police based in Warren at 814-728-3600 or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
The investigation is ongoing.
