Esteban S. Santiago, 41, of Jamestown faces charges after a search warrant was served at 815 Prendergast Ave. at 9:50 p.m. Monday by Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force agents.

Task Force agents entered the apartment with the help of the Jamestown Police Department’s SWAT team. Santiago was allegedly found inside the home along with 39.1 grams of powder cocaine, cash and a drug scale. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony, and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Santiago was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force includes Jamestown and Ellicott police officers. In addition to the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team, investigators were assisted by the New York State Police K-9 Unit and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
