BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department will open its doors to area residents so they can learn about what it takes to be a volunteer firefighter or EMT in their community as part of the fifth annual RecruitNY statewide initiative. On Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department, 13 Alburtus Ave., Bemus Point, will join volunteer fire departments across the state at their respective firehouses for a unified recruitment drive.
