The choirs of the Magnolia, North Harmony and Open Meadows United Methodist Churches will present the Easter cantata “Jesus Wore My Crown” in the North Harmony U.M.C., Stedman-Sherman Road on Sunday at 7 a.m. The time was incorrect in Thursday’s edition. Soloists are Patricia Zdunski, Juanita Wallace-Jackson and Ron Miller. Breakfast will follow the service. Morning worship is at 9:30 a.m.

The Easter Sunday worship celebration, with Holy Communion, for First Lutheran Church, 120 Chandler St., Jamestown, will be a combined service at 10:30 a.m. The service was incorrectly listed in a previous edition, and the time was omitted.

The name of the Jamestown team in the North American 3 Hockey League is the Southern Tier Xpress. The name was incorrect in the headline of a story that ran on Page B1 in Tuesday’s Post-Journal. The Southern Tier Xpress name was submitted by Bud Tomassi as part of the ”Name Your Team” contest conducted by the Jamestown Area Hockey Associates LLC.

Rick Shattuck was the men’s scratch club champion at Breezewood Links and has been invited to play in the 25th annual P-J Champions golf tournament on May 18. His name was incorrect in Monday’s Post-Journal.

EDUCATION?FUNDING

The Jamestown Public Schools district received a gap elimination adjustment restoration of $475,000 for the 2014-15 school year. The amount was reported incorrectly in Wednesday’s edition. The district would have received an additional $500,000 toward covering its budget gap had the gap elimination adjustment been eliminated entirely. Also, the reason for Bemus Point Central School’s building aid decrease was incorrectly reported. According to Michael Mansfield, superintendent, the Bemus Point building aid decrease is due to the closing of financing for capital projects from 1998-99. Also, the amount of money Southwestern Central School would raise through a 1 percent tax levy increase is $123,800. A 2 percent levy increase is projected.

On the Post Journal’s Wrestling All-Star page that was published on Sunday, the photos of Maple Grove’s Howie Nolan and Brian Westerdahl were switched incorrectly. They are correct above.
