Persell Middle School officials recently named the school’s October Students of the Month. They are:

– Sophie Whittaker, fifth grade and the daughter of John and Shelley Whittaker. Sophie enjoys making art, reading and writing. Her favorite subjects are math and ELA, and her goal in life is to become a doctor, specifically a pediatrician.

– Bentley Pettit, sixth grade and the son of Lindsey Schmitz and John Schmitz. Bentley enjoys playing games in his spare time and his favorite class is science. He plans on becoming a police officer when he grows up.

– Ryleii Ahlquist, seventh grade and the daughter of Jaclyn McCusker and Derek Ahlquist. Ryleii’s hobbies include drawing, playing the flute and listening to music. Her favorite subject is science, and her goal in life is to become a happy and successful adult.

– Collin Jock, eighth grade and the son of Robert and Ashley Jock. Collin enjoys bowling in his spare time. His favorite subject is science, and he plans on joining the Professional Bowling Association (PBA) when he gets older.
