The Chautauqua County Humane Society’s Walk 4 Paws is Saturday, Sept. 14, at Panzarella Park in Jamestown. Registration is open now at Chqhumane.org. Registrants will receive a free pet bandana. Top fundraisers will receive a special recognition and doggie prize bag with a value of over $250.

The Walk 4 Paws is the Humane Society’s largest fundraising event that features activities for dogs and their families to enjoy while giving participants a feel for the activities that keep dogs mentally and physically enriched during their stay at the shelter.

There will be a pet portrait booth featuring local photographers, a pup painting tent, nose work demonstrations and a new sensory walk for pups to experience. The sensory walk is a combination of sights, sounds, smells and tastes. This year, Play CHQ will be on hand with games for families. Laughing Fox Flower Farms will teach those attending about pet safe flowers. Registration and activities for the Walk 4 Paws begin at 10 a.m. and the Walk 4 Paws starts at 11 a.m.
