Samuel Mincarelli has studied piano with Andrew Schmidt for six years and will offer his final recital with Schmidt on Friday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Christ First United Methodist Church, 663 Lakeview Ave., Jamestown. Mincarelli is a 2023 graduate of Southwestern High School and has enrolled to study music composition at New England Conservatory after winning an honorable mention and finalist award from the annual National Guild of Piano Teachers composition contest.
